Taking Massa to the next level : Your ideas needed!

Hey everyone,

We’ve built something amazing here together, but I know we’re just getting started.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on what’s next, what would take the Massa ecosystem to the next level ?

There’s a ton of potential here, and I’m sure a lot of you have ideas on what would make it even better.
It could be anything : tools, partnerships, features, or maybe something you’ve seen elsewhere that would be awesome to bring into Massa. Whatever you think could be that “missing piece,” don’t hold back.

To get the ball rolling, here are a few things to think about :

  • Are there resources missing that would make it easier for devs to build on Massa ?
  • How’s the experience for new users? Anything we can improve to make it more seamless ?
  • Do we have everything needed to keep the community active, informed, and engaged ?
  • Are there key partnerships or integrations we should be looking into to boost growth ?

Let’s throw some ideas around and see what we come up with.
Looking forward to hearing what’s on your mind and how we can make Massa even stronger !

Let’s push for $MAS integration on Ledger hardware wallet.

More wallets support, mobile wallet, lending protocols things to keep liquidity inside the ecosystem

We just need more people to build apps. If you’d like to do the lending protocol, I’d be happy to help!

I’m really excited about DeWeb. We can’t wait to see it come to live.

Why ? Do you feel it would make a big difference for attracting new users, or is it more about meeting the needs of current $MAS holders ?

On the mobile wallet front, there’s actually already a team in progress on this
And for lending protocols, just so you know, we have another team working on a Lending Borrowing project that’ll have features like borrowing, collateral management, and dynamic interest rates.
When you mention wanting more wallet support, what specific wallets are you thinking of ?

Since there’s already a team working on the lending and borrowing protocol, do you have any specific features or improvements in mind that you think would really make a difference ?

Mainly Metamask, it will be great to have metamask support

Great news, we have granted a team to work on the Metamask Snap !

Sharing my idea for Staking for #Everyone.

To echo some feedback:

  1. Accessibility: Right now, Massa is limited to crypto enthusiasts only. Installing a node require technical knowledge that only few have and even buying $MAS is not for everyone.

Proposal: Focus on making Massa mainstream for Mass adoption.

1.A Focus efforts on Metamask integration.
1.B Focus efforts on making node installation a on click. Implement an User interface to install, start, stop, buy rolls, sell rolls, manage node, wallet, etc… for windows and other OS.
1.C In a near future, make a mobile app to run nodes on mobile devices when they are on wifi and idle. Most high end mobiles hardware is enough to run a node. Even if it means to make those nodes “light versions” to support massadoption.

  1. Dev: Sorry to say but we all know, people are lazy in general and devs are no exceptions. We must have:
2.A A repository of code samples where devs can cut and paste pieces of codes for ASCs, DeWeb, etc…
2.B DeWeb academy: A collection of videos and training on how to DeWeb, etc…
2.C Make a resource center for devs
2.D Make a collab with GitHub or other AI and create an AI devs copilot spefic for Massa, DUSA, etc… that support them with everything they need.

  2. Add Massa learning activities earning $MAS on coinbase and other platforms that offer that kind of service.

  3. We must go get additional funding from other sources so we have the funds to get these things done quickly.

Hello,
Sorry for the late answer

Work is in progress, we have granted a team to work on the Metamask Snap !

That’s why I created this topic :

The issue is that the phone should never go into standby, which is really tough on the battery.
So it needs to be plugged in 24/7.
Massa was designed to operate without a light node, with lightweight specs accessible to everyone.

I don’t think the issue is really a lack of tools for developers.
We already have a solid set with the SDK, documentation, code examples, and open-source projects that are regularly updated.

The real challenge right now is attracting developers and keeping them engaged long enough to build something.

Adding a code sample repository or extra resources like video tutorials could definitely help, but that won’t make much of a difference if we’re not able to grab their attention in the first place. Once we have them, we already have the support in place to guide them, including the tech support on Discord.

So for me, the main focus should be on attracting devs and showing them that we’re here to help them succeed.

I will look into that !

That will come at one point :hugs:

Awesome, thx for all the anwers :muscle:t4:

About Ledger integration, because I simply understand that linking to a hardware wallet helps protect users’ assets, and I see that every layer1 builds this feature.
