Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I hope this is not a proposal similar to another one (I read through most of them but probably not all). I am also not fully aware of everything on Massa so excuse my lack of knowledge.

First I believe this is useful to ensure all nodes are compliant to a minimal system requirements as proposed by this thread.
-
I also believe it would be useful to have two types of nodes since if I understand well you can endorse blocks or create them. It could make sense to have different levels of nodes to let people enter into the nodes stuff with lower requirements (for hardware but also for rolls).
-
Main Proposal : Is it possible to reward the node in a deterministic ways according to the number of rolls? If a node is alive during a full cycle, then we just give M (number of MAS for this cycle) / # rolls (counting only the rolls of the node fully alive during the cycle) by roll. It would be more fair for little nodes (right now what they get has some random variation, I could do the math to see that yes in the long run its not that much important but it makes hard to compute any APR when it could be smoothed by this proposal).
Pardon me if this is not clear and I am ok to give more explanation if needed.
