We need transparency

Sebastien Forestier has led the Massa Foundation for over a year. It would be nice to know how the money raised in the public sale is spent, and it would be good to have transparency about the foundation’s spending habits.

Not many people are still on Massa, and keeping everything closed source like this won’t help. We need transparency.

We need to know that the foundation still has our back and that Sebastien is not getting payed a lot and doing nothing or using the public sale money for his own personal benefit.

Hello Sam, thank you for these questions.
From September, on Foundation side we’ll now be 4 people, spending 15k/month on payroll in total (incl. taxes etc), I hope this clarifies some of your doubts.

The main cash spendings since the Foundation was started end of 2023 were the following (approx., in $):

  • Massa Labs: 990k
  • Marketing/Listings/MM: 600k
  • Payroll: 460k
  • Audits: 240k
  • Builders: 75k
  • ICO (Republic fees, etc): 250k
  • Admin (Legal/Accounting/Compliance etc): 180k

Hey Sebastien,

Thank you for the information.

Can you please provide more details?

  1. How much the Foundation still own in different assets? USD, EUR, Bitcoin, MAS, etc.
  2. What’s your budget for the next years? How much can Foundation live without income?
  3. What is the “Massa Labs: 990k” expense? Payroll, as I understand, already includes salaries. 1M is the main expense here.
  4. Can you please split Marketing/Listings/MM. Marketing is really slow, and MAS has only two listings: Bitget and MEXC.
