Hi, I had a technical - legal question about DeWeb

As a provider, how can I decide whether to provide the site if the site content is only available by logging in and I cannot access the site content?

What legal action can be taken against me as a result of providing a website that has illegal content but which I, as a person without access to the content, have not been able to check?

Hello,

As a provider, you have control over which websites you choose to serve.
If you suspect that a site may host illegal content, you can decide to stop providing it.

It’s possible that, in some cases, authorities might request you to blacklist a specific site, similar to how they ask ISPs to block access to certain websites. Since you may not always have access to the content, your decision can be based on external reports or signals.

The DeWeb is designed to maximize decentralization, but each provider remains free to manage their own list of allowed or blocked sites.
